  • 200g fresh rice noodles (bánh phở)
  • 1.5L vegetable broth (beef-flavored)
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce (or vegan fish sauce)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Fresh herbs: cilantro, Thai basil, mint
  • Bean sprouts
  • Lime wedges
  • Sliced chili

Instructions:

Heat vegetable broth with star anise, cinnamon, and cloves. Simmer gently for 10 minutes to infuse flavors.

Add fish sauce and sugar to the broth. Strain spices and keep broth hot.

Cook rice noodles per package instructions. Drain and divide into bowls.

Instructions:
